PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING

If you fill out a contact/quote, application or newsletter forms on the website, or send us an e-mail, the data you send us will be kept as long as is necessary according to the nature of the form or the content of your e-mail for it to be fully answered and processed. We use the following retention periods:

  • Contact form (via Gravity Forms): 1 year
  • Newsletter (via Mailchimp): Until unsubscribed from the newsletter.
  • Other forms: (via Gravity Forms): 1 year

SECURITY

All data you exchange with Sensors.nl through our website is encrypted with SSL security based on the HTTPS protocol.

VISITOR DATA AND GOOGLE ANALYTICS

We use Google Analytics to track general visit data. The data is used for statistical analysis of visit and click behavior on the website. We also use it to optimize the operation of the website. We have also set Google Analytics to be privacy-friendly, so IP addresses are anonymized and data is sent over a secure connection.

We have a processing agreement with Google. The statistical data is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in Europe and the United States. HOTJAR

With the tool Hotjar we can see where we visitors click on the website and to what extent visitors scroll down pages. This data is completely anonymized and thus cannot be traced back to individuals.

PROFILERING

Based on behavior on the website, marketing cookies are used to create profiles so that we can show visitors relevant ads on other sites. This allows you as a visitor to see relevant ads, as it matches your previously shown behavior on the website. With this we hope to inform you even better about our services and articles. This data cannot be traced back to a specific person.

PROCESSOR AGREEMENT

We have signed a processing agreement with all companies that process our data. This states, among other things, what the personal data may be processed for and what security measures must be taken where the personal data is stored. It also states that the person processing the data must treat it confidentially and may not process it on their own for a purpose other than that stated in the processing agreement.
