Beschrijving
Tiefenbach Control Systems' proximity switches cover a similar area of application as magnetic switches. However, they are based on a completely different switching principle. Proximity switches are inductive devices that use an oscillator. Thus, it is not necessary to pass a magnet to trigger a switching action. To generate a logical change between high and low level at the output, it is sufficient for a metal object to approach. Proximity switches extend the scope of magnetic switches.
