Flow meter with variable area with optional latching alarm | Series 3000

The MPB Series 3000 series of variable area flow meters provides an economical means for accurate flow measurement. A scale length of 250 mm offers excellent resolution and provides easily readable scale distributions.

The latest version of the MPB Series 3000 Flowmeter now offers a range of twelve additional scales with flow rates as low as 250 cc/min Air @ 1013 mbar abs 20 ^o C to 3000 L/min Air @ 1013 mbar abs 20 ^o C. Other ranges up to 125 L/min of water are also available.

All flow tubes use a free float design with a very low pressure drop.

The MPB Series 3000 is an ideal flowmeter for use as a calibration master, or where high accuracy with a good resolution scale is required for the most demanding variable area flow applications.

The construction materials offer compatibility with a wide range of industrial process media.

The units are equipped with a calibrated scale plate. In addition, a metric scale is permanently shot onto the tube. If required, a convenient blank scale plate can also be supplied for the customer's own calibration.

The end connections can be supplied in stainless steel or hard PVC.

The MPB Series 3000 Flowmeter can be used to measure the flow rate of most process gases and liquids.

One or two inexpensive Hi and Lo alarm devices can be mounted. This allows alarms to remain activated while flow is above or below a set point. This reduces expensive electronic circuitry and is ideal for remote and process control applications.

A rear panel mounting kit is available, complete with bezel and all fittings.
