The qualities of the STOCKTROL are convincing:

• Wide range of applications: ideal for lightweight materials such as Styrofoam, as well as heavy bulk materials such as sand, for both powders and granules up to 20 mm in size.
• Extremely high sensitivity: the STOCKTROL is applicable for materials with a density as low as 10 grams per liter.
• No false alarms due to bridging: the single-blade design eliminates the risk that material can form a bridge between two blades, which is a common problem in instruments with a fork design.
• No false alarms due to material accumulation on the vibrating blade: The sword-shaped blade of the STOCKTROL allows material to flow easily.
• No false alarms due to 'rat holing': Because the sword-shaped vibrating blade prevents material from accumulating, the STOCKTROL can operate with very little energy. This prevents the instrument from creating a cavity in the material in which it could continue to vibrate even when surrounded by material.
• Material deposited on the silo wall does not affect the operation of the STOCKTROL: only the vibrating blade is sensitive, not the 90 mm long base of the probe.
• Made entirely of stainless steel: the electronics are mounted in an aluminum housing with protection class IP66 / IP67. Developed and manufactured at PTL in Germany according to DIN EN ISO9001:2015.
• All units are CE certified and meet the requirements of European directives LVD 2014/35/EU and EMC 2014/30/EU.
• ATEX approvals for gas and dust explosion applications are available for CV210, CV310 and CV510.
